Thoubal, December 03 2025: The 131 Battalion of the Border Security Force (BSF) organised a free medical camp and medicine distribution programme at Makhan village, Kangpokpi district on Wednesday under the Civic Action Programme, benefitting hundreds of residents from the surrounding areas.

The medical camp was inaugurated in the presence of KS Nautiyal, Commandant of 131 BSF; Pran Kumar, Commandant (Medical), SHQ BSF Koirengei; Dr K Ningthonkhomcha, MO, PHC Maphou; Dr S Imocha Singh, MO PHC Maphou; L Usharani Devi, CHO, AAM Makhan; and Dr Mukesh Kumar, MO of 105 Bn BSF.

A medical team consisting of 2 officers, 5 SOs and 15 ORs facilitated the camp, offering check-ups, consultations and free distribution of essential medicines.
