Vaibhav Chawla, the co-founder of the Delhi-based warehousing startup Wherehouse, was recently arrested early Tuesday morning. The arrest occurred at around 1 am on December 2, following his announcement on LinkedIn that he was shutting down the company due to operational challenges and the alleged detention of some employees.
As per the information shared by fellow entrepreneur Shachin Bharadwaj, Chawla was arrested at around 1 am, Moneycontrol reported.
However, sources to India Today in the Delhi Police rejected accusations of detention, noting that no one is in custody. They stated that the police had only received one complaint of cheating, which is currently being investigated.
