WAKULLA COUNTY, Fla. (WCTV) - As Crawfordville continues to expand, the governor’s office has awarded millions to Wakulla County to improve its water quality and sewer systems.

Gov. DeSantis announced the statewide awards on Wednesday, which gave $6.1 million for Crawfordville East Phases V and VI that will help connect properties on septic systems to conventional sewer systems.

It will apply to three subdivisions, and the hope is that it will benefit the Upper Wakulla River and Wakulla Springs.
