AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - Two West Plains football athletes made history Wednesday by becoming the first Division I signees in the program’s history. Kane White-Tinsley and Keegan Collins signed their national letters of intent during a morning ceremony.
White-Tinsley will attend the University of Texas El Paso as a free safety, while Collins will play offensive tackle for Kansas State.

Both athletes said they wanted to attend schools that felt like home and credited West Plains with helping them make their college decisions.
“Home away from home. Players text me every single day, let me know how much they loved it. Coaches calling me every single day, asking how practice was, asking how the games went, so I just feel like home,” White-Tinsley said.
