GREEN, Ohio - A Florida man faces multiple felony charges after authorities say they linked him to three break-ins across Green on Tuesday, including one at a museum.
Derrick Duck, 43, of Palatka, Florida, was charged in Barberton Municipal Court with theft, breaking and entering and criminal damaging.
Barberton Municipal Judge Todd McKenney set Duck’s bond at $100,000 during Duck’s first court appearance on Wednesday.
The string of crimes began around 8:15 a.m. when an employee at the MAPS Air Museum, an aviation history museum, on International Parkway found a broken lock on the front door.
An electric bicycle and a rifle were missing from inside. Summit County deputies found the bicycle near the museum.
