Wyoming Valley West School Board addressed the ongoing investigation into a social media post regarding the killing of right-wing activist Charlie Kirk made from the “compromised” account of a school administrator after its reorganization meeting on Wednesday.
Dwayne McDavitt, a Larksville resident, addressed the board at the work session that followed the reorganization meeting at 7 p.m. at the middle school in Kingston.
“When a staff member publicly posts celebratory or negative comments about someone’s death, regardless of who it is, it can raise questions about the judgment, emotional maturity, and ability to model appropriate behavior for the students,” McDavitt told the board.
He asked if they had come to a decision about how to proceed with the investigation and asked for updates
