A Bengaluru techie allegedly died by suicide after facing alleged extortion and harassment from neighbours and GBA civic officials over his under-construction home. Accused of deviating from building plans, Murali Govindaraju was reportedly demanded Rs 20 lakh by his neighbours to cease complaints. He was found dead hours before a scheduled hearing with authorities.
