A longtime member of the 6abc news team in Philadelphia is leaving her position.

In a post on Facebook, Annie McCormick announced that she was leaving the Philadelphia news station.

“Today is my last day at 6abc after thirteen years!” McCormick wrote. “I’m grateful for my time at 6abc and looking forward to my next chapter in journalism.”

McCormick joined 6abc Action News in 2012 . According to her biography on her website, she worked in Harrisburg prior to joining the Philadelphia ABC affiliate.

A native of Moorestown, New Jersey, McCormick graduated from Muhlenberg College in Allentown. Her career has included on-air positions in Waco, Texas and Albuquerque, New Mexico, and as a photojournalist for wire services.
