WACO, Texas — Connally four-star cornerback Jamarion Vincent made headlines this week after decommitting from Baylor and flipping his commitment to Michigan , officially signing with the Wolverines on early signing day.

Vincent, one of the state’s top defensive backs, said he is confident in his decision to head north and begin his college career in the Big Ten.

"I feel great about my decision. I'm ready to get to work at Michigan and start putting in the work and start knowing my teammates and putting in extra work, ready to get to the league," Vincent said.

He cited Michigan’s track record of producing NFL defensive backs as a driving factor.
