The Maharashtra Legislature’s Winter Session will be held in Nagpur from Monday, December 8 to Sunday, December 14, 2025. Notably, despite December 13 (Saturday) and December 14 (Sunday) being government holidays, both Houses will continue to function on these days. The decision was finalised during a meeting of the Legislature’s Business Advisory Committee held at the Vidhan Bhavan.
The committee meeting witnessed the presence of top presiding officers and senior leaders from the state government and opposition. Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, Rahul Narwekar, Legislative Council Chairman Prof. Ram Shinde, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar, as well as Deputy Chairperson of the Legislative Council Dr. Neelam Gorhe and Deputy Speaker
