Rajinder Gupta meets Railway Minister Ashwani Vaishnav, demands halt of Vande Bharat at Barnala and restart of Bathinda-Delhi Shatabdi

New Delhi, December 4, 2025: Rajya Sabha Member and Trident Group Chairman Rajinder Gupta met Union Railway, Information & Broadcasting and Electronics & Information Technology Ashwani Vaishnav. This was first meeting between both the leaders. Gupta urged Railway Minister that Vande Bharat started recently from Ferozepur should also have stop at Barnala. Railway Minister said that this demand is under consideration as Union Minister of State for Railways Ravneet Bittu has also demanded the same.

Gupta also urged Minister that Bathinda-New Delhi Shatabdi via Sangrur should also be started again.
