The matter regarding the need for a mobile High Court Bench in Mangaluru has come to my notice. I will discuss this with the Chief Justice of the Karnataka High Court and make sincere efforts to establish a High Court Bench in Mangaluru, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah assured on Wednesday.

A delegation of advocates from the coastal region met Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and submitted a request seeking the establishment of a mobile High Court Bench in Mangaluru.

Speaking on the occasion, Ivan D’Souza—Convenor of the High Court Bench Agitation Committee and Member of the Legislative Council—urged that a High Court Bench should be set up to ensure speedy justice for the people of the coastal region.
