Eleven-year-old Indian prodigy Charvi Anilkumar scripted history on Wednesday as she breached the 2300 ELO ranking to become the second youngest girl to do so.
Charvi stands only behind the legendary Hungarian chess star Judith Polgar, who accomplished the feat at a younger age, and earned the FM title.
Esteemed chess coach RB Ramesh took to social media platform X, formerly Twitter, to laud the youngster with a post that read, “Hearty congratulations to 11year old Charvi Anilkumar for crossing 2300 FIDE elo! Second youngest girl in the World to do so after the legendary Judit Polgar."
Charvi also regained her spot the top spot for girls under 11 across the world by overtaking Alanna Berikkyzy. Charvi is also the No. 1 eleven-year-old in India overall, ahead of all the boys in the age c
