NACOGDOCHES, Texas (KTRE) - Making an appearance here for the first time since 2009, officials from R&K Distribution in Nacogdoches say the Budweiser Clydesdale horses are returning to Deep East Texas to make an appearance for the Nacogdoches holiday parade.

“We were very excited to get that email saying, ‘Congratulations, they’re coming to Nacogdoches,’ so once I got that email, I started getting the word out,” Jimmy Day, the branch manager for R&K Distribution, said.

Day said that since the horses arrived on Monday, they have already been bringing a lot of traction to the area.

“Just having the Clydesdales here is such a big impact on a small town, and everyone’s really excited about it,” he said.
