WEST RICHLAND, Wash. – The West Richland intersection of Ruppert Rd/Belmont Blvd and SR 224 is set to open on December 8, the city announced.

Paving has been completed along with utilities to align with the new pavement and finished striping, signage and roundabout sidewalks.

Additionally, the Paradise Blvd intersection will close on December 8, the city said.

SR 224 from Keene Road to Paradise Way will close to thru traffic, with only residential traffic allowed from the Keene Road intersection.

Paradise Way will close at the intersection, and traffic will be detoured back to Belmont Blvd.

SR 224 from Paradise Way to Belmont Blvd will also close to thru traffic, with only residential traffic allowed from the Belmont Blvd intersection.
