Lila McCarthy hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer to give Camas girls basketball a 56-55 win over Evergreen in overtime on Wednesday.

Evergreen was outscored 14-0 in the third quarter and trailed by eight points with 1:30 left in regulation. But the host Plainsmen rallied behind two clutch baskets by Courtney Neal, who finished with 16 points.

Lauren Hood scored 18 points and Baylie Farra added 17 points for Camas (1-1).

Kimora Ross scored 18 points to lead short-handed Evergreen (2-1). The Plainsmen played just eight players on Wednesday and are awaiting a few transfers to become eligible after they sit out a mandatory eight games.
