Chennai, Dec 4: In a major move to strengthen India’s digital infrastructure, the Andhra Pradesh government has approved 480 acres of land in Visakhapatnam and Anakapalli districts for the proposed Adani–Google AI data centre project. The land has been allotted to Adani Infra (India) Pvt Ltd for developing a 1-gigawatt AI campus planned by Raiden Infotech India Pvt Ltd, a Google-linked entity, as part of the broader AdaniConneX partnership with Google.
With an estimated investment of around Rs 87,500 crore, the project is among the largest technology infrastructure initiatives in India.
