Mumbai, Dec 4: The Disaster Management Department of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has issued a high tide alert for four consecutive days, from December 4 to December 7, warning of sea waves rising above 4.5 meters along the Mumbai coastline.

As per the release, the highest tide of 5.03 meters is forecast at 12:39 AM on December 6, with multiple high-tide occurrences expected during this period.

Authorities have appealed to citizens to avoid visiting beaches during high-tide hours and to follow safety guidelines issued by BMC and Mumbai Police.
