The high school football season is nearing its end.

Western North Carolina has two games Dec. 5 in the NCHSAA regional finals – Robbinsville has a bye and will play next week in the state championships – with Murphy and Brevard both looking to punch tickets to the finals.

Staff writers Evan Gerike (85-31) of the Citizen Times and Zachary Huber (89-27) of the Times-News make predictions for the two WNC games in the regional finals.
