New Delhi, Dec 03: Navneet Sehgal (Retd IAS: 1988: UP), Chairman, Prasar Bharti resigned from the post following which GOI accepted, details with CTN reads as under:-

Sehgal, a former top bureaucrat from the Uttar Pradesh cadre, submitted his papers, however, various speculations have been doing rounds as reasons for his resignation yet no official reason has been cited for the sudden exit.

Sehgal was appointed as Chairman in March 2024 for a period of three years or until he attained the age of 70. The unexpected vacancy now opens a new chapter of uncertainty at the state-run media organization.
