REFORM UK have reported by far the highest level of donations of any political party in Britian, according to the latest figures.
Nigel Farage ’s party accepted cash gifts of £10.3 million between July and September this year, according to the Electoral Commission. The SNP reported no donations and Labour got £2.2m.
Reform’s total was mostly from Thailand-based businessman Christopher Harborne, a former Tory donor, who gifted £9m to the party.
That is believed to be one of the largest single sums in British political history, after Lord Sainsbury left £10m to the Tories in his will two years ago.
Elsewhere, Reform UK also received £50,000 from Claudia Caroline Harmsworth, the Vicountess Rothermere whose husband is the chair of the Daily Mail and General Trust, owners of the Daily
