Bhubaneswar: A proposal for providing pension to journalists is under the consideration of the Odisha government, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi informed the state Assembly on Thursday.

Answering a question by BJP MLA Sidhant Mohapatra, the Chief Minister said that requests for providing pension to journalists have been received by the government from various organisations. This proposal is under the consideration of the government. ADVERTISEMENT
