The release of The Elder Scrolls VI is easily one of the most highly anticipated in video game, only really sitting behind the behemoth of GTA VI in terms of raw hype.

Bethesda took the bold state of announcing the game all the way back at E3 2018, when that show still existed, and the game had clearly only just entered development in earnest.

Since then, it has been basically silent on the part of the developer, with no information about what the game may contain or when we might get to actually play the thing.

Now, with the second season of Fallout on Prime Video set to premiere this month, Todd Howard has been taking questions from the media, and he has narrowed the release window down, if only a little.
