Denny’s has been in the headlines plenty across the past couple of months, and while some of it might look a bit concerning for fans of the popular diner and breakfast spot, the company has a message.

Don’t freak out, folks.

Yes, Denny’s did have a plan to shut down 150 restaurants this year, and sure a few have been in the headlines for shuttering since the company’s announced $620 million planned buyout last month, but most of the closings have already taken place.

And while some are shutting down, none of those closings are as a result of the announced acquisition plans, and there are even plans to open new restaurants across the coming year.
