LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - The Old Newsboys of Greater Lansing is selling its annual ‘Lansing Spoof Journal’ on Thursday. The proceeds go towards purchasing winter shoes, boots, and socks for children in need in Michigan.

The ‘Lansing Spoof Journal’ is a fake newspaper with false news stories.

Volunteers will be selling the newspaper throughout the Lansing area, including DeWitt, St. Johns, Holt, and Charlotte.

On Average, over 7,000 kids in the Greater Lansing Area benefit from the Old Newsboys Organisation each year, and that number continues to grow.
