Badyar, Dec 1: Fr L M Pinto Hospital, Badyar, marked a historic milestone on December 1, 2025, with the blessing and inauguration of its newly upgraded Emergency Ward, Ultrasound Unit, Reception Counter and advanced X-Ray Machine, further strengthening its emergency and diagnostic services for the rural population of Badyar and neighbouring areas.

The programme began with a solemn blessing ceremony led by most rev Dr Peter Paul Saldanha, Bishop of the Diocese of Mangalore, who invoked God’s blessings upon the new facilities, medical staff and all patients who will benefit from the upgraded services.
