About a year from now, Fort Collins Power Trail users will be able to safely cross Harmony Road via an underpass.

Construction is finally underway for the long-awaited project to fill a 1-mile gap in the trail, which is expected to be complete in late 2026 or early 2027.

To mark the latest step, city staff and council members participated in a ceremonial groundbreaking on Dec. 2.
