WOODBURY — North Congregational Church of Woodbury will once again open the town’s holiday weekend with its beloved annual Christmas concert at 7 p.m. on Friday, December 5, in the church sanctuary.
The event will feature two local a cappella choral groups, the Valley Chordsmen and Femina Melodia, offering a dynamic evening of harmony, from classic Barbershop to 17th-century madrigals.
The concert is free of charge; however, a free-will offering will be accepted to support the groups.
The performance will feature a delightful balance of choral styles.
The Valley Chordsmen, a local chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society, will perform winter and Christmas songs in their signature four-part harmony. The program includes both sacred and secular selections, along with classic repertoire
