Jaipur: Announcing a relaxation in the bond conditions for post-graduate medical students, the Rajasthan Medical Education Department has decided to provide an exemption to the bond service candidates to those joining Central or State Government service.

Such candidates, who after completing their post-graduate studies will secure Centre or State Government jobs, will be exempted from the previously mandatory two-year service requirement, TOI has reported.

The order in this regard was issued by the State Medical Education Department on December 1. It states that while the PG and super-speciality candidates in Rajasthan are bound by a two-year service bond, if these candidates get selected for positions within the Central or State Government, or institutes fully or partially authorised
