About five minutes into the second half of what would become a 71-52 blowout of Iowa, Michigan State wing Jordan Scott caught a pass from teammate Coen Carr, gathered and let fly. The shot missed, off the far left corner of the rim, but the freshman never hesitated. That confidence is what teammates — and coaches — have longed to see from Scott.
