Agartala, 4 th December 2025: Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha today said that the National Cadet Corps (NCC) in Tripura has always been at the forefront not just in parade but also in the service of society.

Dr. Saha said this after inaugurating the Tripura NCC Fest 2025 at the Tripura Institute of Technology, Narsingarh, Agartala.He said that in the year 1970, when he was in Class 11, he was in the NCC.“Whatever I have learnt from there, I am not going to forget, it was my foundation. I also received an award. I was also not aware that such things would happen. The way NCC cadets are getting benefits now, earlier we did not receive such things.
