Elementary school students in Barrington hold their own parade

Primrose Hill School students and their teachers treated parents to a special Thanksgiving parade outside the school on Wednesday, Nov. 26.

The parade — it celebrated the original Macy's Day parade that started 101 years ago this Thanksgiving — capped a special event where students held a food pantry fund-raiser.

The Primrose Hill School parade included homemade floats, costumes and plenty of waves to the families and friends which gathered along the edge of the school property to watch the event.
