Kyiv: Ukraine has said it wants an end to its war with Russia but stressed that any peace agreement must be fair and not based on pressure or concessions. Speaking at a meeting of the Organization for Security and Co operation in Europe, Ukraine’s foreign minister Andrii Sybiha said the country is open to efforts toward ending the conflict but will not accept proposals that compromise its sovereignty.

Sybiha warned that the international community should avoid repeating mistakes of the past where aggressive actions were rewarded. He referred to earlier historical examples where appeasement failed to stop conflict and instead encouraged further aggression.
