WARREN - A clothing store that's served downtown Warren for 75 years will soon be closing its doors.
Howard's Clothes owner Richard Lawnhurst tells 21 News that after 75 years in business, he is retiring and closing the store. So far, no one has shown interest in taking over operations.
Lawnhurst says business has been going great, but "age has set in," and he would like to spend more time with his family.
Starting Monday, December 8, Howard's Clothes will kick off its going-out-of-business sale, offering "substantial discounts" on the entire store.
Lawnhurst says he has not officially set a closing date for the store yet, as that will be decided based on how the final sale goes.
