The holiday season is officially taking center stage in downtown Orlando.

The Orlando Ballet Company's annual performance of "The Nutcracker" opens Friday night at the Dr. Phillips Center, and only on WESH 2, Traffic Anchor Meaghan Mackey takes you backstage for an exclusive preview of the dancers, the costumes, and the teamwork powering this year's production.

A Dream Come True for the Dancers

For Orlando Ballet dancers Dominique Guerra and Savannah Campbell, stepping into "The Nutcracker" makeup and costume room is nothing short of magical.

Guerra lit up as she looked over glittering wardrobe pieces and put on her jewelry.

"Oh, that's so cute! Oh, those are super cute," she said with a smile.
