Amazon is accelerating the rollout of its 10-minute delivery service Amazon Now , and plans to add two new micro-fulfillment centers (MFCs) every day.

The company says Amazon Now demand has exceeded "the most optimistic predictions", and so the expansion is aimed at increasing coverage in Bengaluru, Delhi and Mumbai, where demand for ultra-fast deliveries has exceeded projections.

The company expects to operate over 300 MFCs by the end of 2025, up from about 100 ahead of this year’s festive season. Amazon Now launched earlier this year in Bengaluru before expanding to the three metros.

Amazon said the growth is being driven in part by Prime members, who have increased their shopping frequency after using the service.
