Christmas crackers are a classic British tradition, having been part of Christmas celebrations for many years. They're a staple at parties throughout December, but with such an array of options available, it can be tricky to work out which ones offer the best value for money.

Supermarket aisles are brimming with choices, often providing a sneak peek of the contents on the packaging. For those like me who can't stand ending up with tiny metal and plastic trinkets that inevitably end up in the bin, I've found some affordable alternatives.

I picked up several packs at various supermarkets last night, including Tesco, Aldi, Lidl, and more, and ended up with a total of 50 crackers at home
