BLUEWATER – Two Bluewater residents will be in court early next year to answer to drug-trafficking charges.
Police said Huron County OPP officers conducted a traffic stop in Huron East on Tuesday, Nov. 25, where the two individuals were arrested and suspected cocaine was seized, as was Canadian currency, the vehicle being driven, and other property related to the offence.

The following day, officers executed a search warrant at a property on Mac Tavesh Street in Bayfield, which police said yielded property related to the offence and Canadian currency.
Police estimated the total value of the drugs seized to be more than $5,000, while other items seized, including weigh scales, a cellphone, Canadian currency and a 2025 model vehicle, were valued at $51,900 in total.
