A woman was taking her baby son out for a stroll when she received a comment from a stranger that stopped her in her tracks.

Lauryn Galloway, 33, lives in Kansas City, Missouri, with her husband and their 17-month-old son, Braxton. Her child has long, straight, bright red hair , and Galloway told Newsweek that, "more often than not, he gets complimented when we're out."

"His hair is a staple conversation starter," she said, "not only out in public, but also near friends and family."

But, on a recent trip out with Braxton to do some shopping, a conversation with a stranger took a turn that left Galloway "speechless."
