Mumbai: Amid Palaash Muchhal and Smriti Mandhana’s wedding controversy, the music composer’s sister, playback singer Palak Muchhal has said it’s a very tough time for both families.

In an interview with Filmfare, Palak opened up about the scrutiny that Palaash has been facing. ADVERTISEMENT

“I think the families have been through a very, very tough time and like you just said… I would just want to repeat that we would like to believe in positivity in this time and spread positivity as much as we can. And stay strong… yeah,” Palak said.

Palaash and Smriti were to tie the knot on November 23 in Maharashtra’s Sangli. However, their wedding was abruptly cancelled due to a medical emergency in the family.
