Happy mini Friday! We are kicking off this Thursday afternoon with chilly weather and a few stray flakes here and there due to scattered moisture.

Overall, the entire afternoon will stay dry. Highs today should hit the upper 40s and the lower 50s.

Rain will move in later this evening and will linger overnight. Cold rain will dominate. A few of our far north regions could see a bit of a wintry mix or a few flakes, but rainfall will take over, and no impacts are expected.

Winter weather advisories HAVE been issued north of our viewing area across the Cumberland Plateau.

Rain totals will consist of 0.25” to 0.5” in our viewing area.

High temperatures will remain in the lower 40s and 50s through the weekend.

Below-average temps are expected next week.
