SRINAGAR : A Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) marked aeroplane-shaped balloon was recovered on Thursday evening in the Pargwal area of the Akhnoor sector, Jammu. Follow Us On G -N e w s | Whatsapp

Official sources said that the balloon was first spotted near Village Hamirpur Kona, close to the banks of the River Chenab. Villagers retrieved the balloon and immediately alerted security agencies.

The BSF promptly took possession of the object for examination. After thorough checks, officials confirmed that nothing suspicious was found, they said.

Subsequently, the balloon was handed over to Pargwal Police Station for further necessary procedures. (KNC)
