The BBB warns that as Christmas approaches, many families will be looking to welcome a new puppy into the home, and with that demand comes the threat of puppy scams.

Post adorable photos

Claim to have puppies available for immediate adoption or shipping

Once money is sent, the “seller” disappears, and the puppy never arrives
