Netflix just dropped new filming locations for its Alberta-shot series, including two from the new show, The Abandons , giving fans a first look at where the western drama came to life across the province.

F irst announced back in November 2021, the series synopsis on Netflix mentions that it is set in Washington Territory in 1854, with the series following the matriarchs of two very different families: one of wealth and privilege, bound by blood, and the other a found family of orphans and outcasts, bound by love and necessity.
