The Calgary Flames have yet another prospect that fans are going to want to start keeping an eye on.

The Flames have done a superb job of drafting under GM Craig Conroy, grabbing some great young talent, including the likes of Zayne Parekh, Matvei Gridin, Cole Reschny, Cullen Potter, and Henry Mews. While the five mentioned all have promising futures ahead, it’s a fifth-round pick from the 2025 draft that is really starting to turn some heads.

Ethan Wyttenbach was selected 144th overall by the Flames last June after a solid 24 goals and 51 points in 44 games with the USHL’s Sioux Falls Stampede. While viewed as a skilled offensive talent, he was undersized heading into his draft, listed at just 5-foot-9, 180 pounds.
