Full of snarky comments and some controversial takes, the list does properly reflect the director's perspective about modern cinema. When talking about Kinji Fukasaku's 2000 dystopian action thriller Battle Royale, a film he has always lauded as one of his favorites, Tarantino says that the young adult franchise The Hunger Games basically stole the premise. Now, Josh Hutcherson, the actor best known for playing Peeta Mellark in The Hunger Games adaptations, has addressed Tarantino's remarks.
