A GLASGOW refugee has urged Nigel Farage to stop playing “dirty games” by picking on children who speak different languages.

This week, the Reform UK leader accused schoolchildren who don’t have English as a first language of “culture smashing” the city in an attack described as “deeply racist” and “repulsive”.

He pointed to a statistic that one in three schoolkids in Glasgow don’t principally speak English, before pledging to make this a “big issue” in his party’s campaign for Holyrood next year.

Speaking to The National’s podcast, 20-year-old refugee Motaz Amer – who is originally from Yemen and has English as a second language – accused Farage of creating fear and division by picking on children for his own gain.
