Snow squalls are possible in Massachusetts and across other parts of New England on Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.

The agency has issued special weather statements for parts of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Connecticut and Maine for the possibility of snow squalls that could make for dangerous driving conditions.

In Massachusetts specifically, warnings have been issued for parts of Nantucket, Dukes, Barnstable, Bristol, Plymouth, Norfolk, Worcester, Suffolk, Middlesex and Essex counties.
