The National Weather Service released a snow squall warning at 11:08 a.m. on Thursday in effect until noon for Fulton, Montgomery, Saratoga and Schenectady counties.
"At 11:07 a.m., a dangerous snow squall was located along a line extending from near Corinth to near Fonda, moving east at 30 mph," adds the weather service. "This includes Interstate 87 between exits 12 and 16."
Locations impacted by the warning include Saratoga Springs, Amsterdam, Gloversville, Johnstown, Glenville, Ballston Spa, Ephratah, Broadalbin, Hagaman, Mayfield, Fort Johnson, Galway, Cranberry Creek, Northampton Beach Public Campground, Burnt Hills, Rock City Falls, North Ballston Spa, Tribes Hill, Kings and Mount Pleasant.
