LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - The holiday spirit is taking center stage this weekend as Dr. Joseph Crabtree and John Reimund of the Laredo Philharmonic prepare to present “Sounds of the Season,” a festive performance designed for all ages.

“We have a lot of things happening, but we certainly have traditional pieces,” Crabtree said, noting the program includes music from Home Alone 2 , a world premiere of Robert Nelson’s Los Pastores performed entirely in Spanish, and selections from The Nutcracker .

According to a promotional flyer, the Laredo Philharmonic’s Sounds of the Season will be a concert “packed with holiday favorites, sparkling arrangements, and symphonic cheer” for the whole family.
